Abstract

Mushrooms are a highly nutritious food commodity because they contain abundant amounts of protein, vitamins, and minerals. However, mushroom cultivation is heavily influenced by environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and soil acidity (pH). Mushroom farmers in Noelbaki Village often face difficulties in maintaining ideal environmental conditions, resulting in decreased yields in both quality and quantity. This study aims to apply Internet of Things (IoT) technology to a mushroom cultivation environmental monitoring system to improve farmer productivity and competitiveness. This IoT-based system enables real-time monitoring of soil temperature, humidity, and pH using sensors connected to the internet. The information obtained is then processed by actuators for automatic regulation or remote monitoring via mobile devices. Through the implementation of this system, it is expected that production efficiency will increase, operational costs will decrease, and the risk of crop failure due to environmental changes can be reduced. The findings of this study are expected to encourage mushroom farmers in Noelbaki Village to adapt to smarter and more applicable technologies in modern agricultural cultivation.
