Abstract

Alor is one of the regencies in East Nusa Tenggara Province, a regency rich in artistic and cultural values. This study focuses on the Application of Alor Vernacular Architecture in the Design of the Alor Cultural Art Gallery in Kalabahi, Alor Regency, which transforms the architecture of Alor traditional houses into the design of the Cultural Art Gallery which aims to maintain and preserve the arts and culture in Alor Regency. Through this design process, it is hoped that the arts and culture in Alor Regency will be maintained and it is also hoped that the design of this Cultural Art Gallery can provide insight into arts and cultural education in Alor Regency to people who want to see firsthand the diversity of culture in Alor Regency.
