Abstract

Thesis Title: Profile of Guidance and Counseling Teachers’ Performance Based on Subject Teachers’ Perceptions at SMA Katolik Sint Carolus Kupang Academic Year 2024/2025. The research problem in this study is: What is the profile of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers’ performance based on subject teachers’ perceptions at SMA Katolik Sint Carolus Kupang in the academic year 2024/2025? The purpose of this study is to determine the profile of BK teachers’ performance based on subject teachers’ perceptions at SMA Katolik Sint Carolus Kupang for the academic year 2024/2025. The research variable is the performance of BK teachers. The population consists of 33 subject teachers at SMA Katolik Sint Carolus Kupang in the academic year 2024/2025. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis employed the central tendency analysis technique. The results of data analysis show that the overall performance of BK teachers at SMA Katolik Sint Carolus Kupang is rated very good by subject teachers, with a score of 32.303, which falls under the high category. Specifically, the Responsive Services aspect scored 9.3485 (high category), the Basic Services aspect scored 7.969, the Specialization and Individual Planning Services aspect scored 9.272, and the System Support aspect scored 5.924, which falls under the moderate category. Based on these findings, the researcher suggests: a) The principal should collaborate with all school personnel to support BK teachers in maintaining and improving their already commendable performance. b) BK teachers should actively enhance their performance quality through various self-development efforts, such as attending training, workshops, and seminars regularly, to ensure their knowledge and skills in Guidance and Counseling are continuously updated.
