Abstract

A dormitory is a residential building that is designated for a certain group of people, one of which is for students who are still in school. One of the schools that provides dormitories for its students is Fides Quaerens Intellectum Catholic High School, Kefamenanu. But unfortunately, this dormitory is still not comfortable and healthy to live in as evidenced by various complaints from the dormitory residents. The purpose of this research is to create a dormitory for students of Fides Quaerens Intellectum Catholic High School that is comfortable and healthy based on behavior patterns, activities, physical and environmental. conditions and by not ignoring the population growth rate of Kefamenanu which will continue to grow in the future, the development of a suitable dormitory is vertical occupancy (multi-storey dormitory). Data collection is done by taking primary data and also secondary data according to the research. The results of this study show patterns of behavior, activities, as well as physical conditions and the existing environment as well as the concept of space and the amount of space in accordance with applicable standards.
