Abstract

Data released by the Lembata district statistics agency recorded the number of Lembata district's workforce at 78,711 people spread across every employment sector. In an effort to prepare quality human resources to enter the world of work, it is important to provide facilities as a forum to hone skills for every workforce, both those working domestically and those who will migrate abroad. The BLK (Work Training Hall) serves as a dedicated facility to enhance participant development through on-the-job training aimed at enhancing work creativity and refining skills relevant to the professional realm. The primary objective of the BLK is to enhance skills potential and equip students for entry into the workforce, ensuring that they emerge from the on-the-job training program as job seekers prepared to engage in a professional environment. The construction of the Employment Training Center for the Department of Manpower and Transmigration in Lembata Regency uses a Contemporary Architectural style characterized by bright colors and distinctive shapes, making the building easily recognizable.Contemporary architecture can be briefly described as an approach to architectural design that reflects the current era and its social context. This style incorporates cutting-edge ideas, technologies, and aesthetics, with a focus on innovative expression and design evolution. Contemporary architecture does not conform to traditional or classical styles; instead, it seeks to transcend these limitations by embracing a freer approach and experimenting with spatial and structural design.
