Abstract

Numbered Head Together is one of the cooperative learning model with the number head giving which looks at the activities of students in finding, processing and reporting information from various sources that are done in groups and finally presented in front of the class. The main problem of this research is how results of “The Application Of Cooperative Learning Model Type Numbered Head Together Using Simple Machine Matter For Students Of Grade Eight D Junior High School 6 Kupang City Odd Semester In The Academic Year 2018/2019? Specifically, the problem of the research are : 1) How is the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019? 2) How are the cooperative skills of students in learning activities by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019? 3) What is the completeness of the indicators of learning outcomes of students in learning by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019? 4) How is the completeness of the learning outcomes of students in learning by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019? 5) How do students respond to learning by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019? Based on the objectives problem above, then the objective to be achieved in this study is “ to describe the results of the Application Of Cooperative Learning Model Type Numbered Head Together Using Simple Machine Matter for Students of Grade Eight D Junior High School 6 Kupang City Odd Semester in The Academic Year 2018/2019”. Specifically, the objectives of the research are : 1) To describe the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019. 2) To describe the cooperative skills of students in learning activities by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019. 3) To describe the completeness of the indicators of learning outcomes of students in learning by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019. 4) To describe the completeness of the learning outcomes of students in learning by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019 5) To describe students respond to learning by applying the cooperative learning model type NHT simple machine matter for student of grade eight D in junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in academic year 2018/2019. The type of research is descriptive research. The subject of the research is students of grade eight D junior high school 6 Kupang city odd semester in the academic year 2018/2019 totaling 27 students and teachers (researcher). The technique used in determining the subject of this research was purposive sampling technique and data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, and questionnaires. While the instruments in this study are Learning Management Observation Sheets (Learning Assessment Sheets, Learning Implementation Observation Sheets, Learning Evaluation Assessment Sheets dan Learning Implementation Evaluation Sheets), Student Learning Skills Observation Sheet, Learning Outcomes Test, and Student Response Questionnaire. The analysis of research results is quantitative descriptive analysis including calculating the average score, percentage and proportion. Based on the results of research and analysis of the encode that has been done, the results obtained that the application of NHT type cooperative learning model for students of grade eight D junior high school 6 Kupang city is simple machine matter is optimal.
