Abstract

The guided inquiry approach is onne type of approach in learning process that glued to students. Where in this approach the students indirrectly trained to find their own answer or solution to the questionable problem under the proper guidence of the teacher. The main problem in this research is: how the result of applying the guided inquiry approah of the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law for the elevent grade students of natural science four at SMA Negeri 6 Kupang in the odd semester of academic year 2018/2019? Specifically the problems in this research is: (1) How does the teacher’s ability to mannage learning by applying the guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law? (2) How completeness of students learning result indicator by aplaying the guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law? (3)How compliteness of students learning result by applying the guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law? (4) How do the students respond to learning by applying the guided inquiry approach of the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law? This research is included descriptive research type. The subject in this research is the teacher (researcher) and the students from the elevent grade students of natural science four at SMA Negeri 6 Kupang in the odd smester of academic year 2018/2019 which omounted to 35 people. The subject selection technique in this research is purposive sample. Grating Test Results Learning and Test Learning outcomes. Data clollection technique that used to collect data in this research is observation, test and questionary. The instrument which used is observation sheet of learning management by aplying the guided inquiry approach, the test of learning outcome and the response sheet of students. Data analysis technique that include caliculation of average score, proportion and precentage. Based on the result of descriptive analysis of research data shows that in general the application of the guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law for the eleventh grade of natural science at SMA Negeri 6 Kupang which amounted 35 people is optimal. In detail gained the ability of teacher in managing learning that includeplaning, implementation and evaluation of learning are included in good category. Indicator of learning outcome prepared as many as 7 indicators of kognitif achievement, 6 indicators of effective achievement and 1 4 indicators of psychomotor achievement all of those are complete and the resonse of students to activity of learning is very strong.
