Abstract

Promotion is the transfer of a position to another position that has greater responsibility.In carrying out a promotion, there must first be an assessment of the employee to be promoted in order to obtain the best candidate who will occupy the position. Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) is a government agency engaged in the formulation and implementation of regional policies in the field of personnel. In determining the promotion of Civil Servants, they must go through 2 stages, namely the selection of administrative requirements and a competency exam. The assessment for the promotion of structural echelon IIb officials by the BKD selection committee of TTU Regency previously still used manual methods, and there was no openness in the assessment so that the assessment was still considered subjective. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to assist the promotion of structural echelon IIb officials by the BKD of TTU Regency. The method that can be used is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) which compares the importance value of the criteria and tests its consistency. The tools used are Sublime text, using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. With this system, it can help the selection committee at the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) TTU to evaluate the promotion of structural echelon IIb officials.
