Abstract

Students the problems in this thesis are (1) Why is psychodrama technique through group counseling used to reduce bullying behavior in students. (2) What is the procedure for using psychodrama techniques through group counseling to reduce bullying behavior in students? (3) Is the use of psychodrama techniques through group counseling effective for reducing bullying behavior in students? The purpose of writing this thesis, is to find out (1) the reasons for using psychodrama techniques through group counseling to resduce bullying behavior in students (2) the procedure for using psychodrama techniques through group counseling to reduce bullying behavior in students (3) The effectiveness of using psychodrama techniques through group counseling to reduce bullying behavior in students. Reduction of bullying behavior in students. The writing of the thesis uses a literature study method with qualitative descriptive data.The object of study in this thesis is the psychodrama technique through group counseling and bullying behavior. The data source for writing this thesis is secondary data. The result of discussion is that: psychodrama techniques through group counseling are used to reduce bullying behavior, because through psychodrama techniques students are encouraged to express their feelings to reduce emotional burdens and can raise positive ideas to be improved in the group process. Procedure for using psychodrama technique trough group counseling for reducing bullying behavior is carried out through the following stages of: role presentation, changing the role of one on one convertsation, aside, doubling, raising the mirror and imitating. The effectiveness of using pshychodrama techniques through counseling for redecing bullying behavior is supported by the results of Afrani’s research which shows that there is a significant reduction in bullying behavior before and after using psychodrama techniques. This means that the use of psychodrama techniques through group counseling is effective to reduce bullying behavior in students. Starting from the results of the obove discussion, the outhers give suggestions to (1) BK Teachers are expected to add insight into use of psychodrama techniques through group counseling so that they are skilled in using psychodrama techniques through counseling to reduce bullying behavior (2) The Outhor is expected to add knowledge and insight about psychodrama techniques through group counseling to reduce bullying behavior
