Abstract

The scientific approach (scientific approach) is a learning model that uses scientific principles that contain a series of data collection activities through observation, questioning, experimentation, processing information or data, then communicating. Objectives: (1) To describe the results of the application of the Scientific approach to the subject matter of colloids to class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kupang; (2) complete analysis of student learning outcomes in learning that applies a scientific approach to colloidal subject matter which includes knowledge learning outcomes (KI 3) and skills learning outcomes (KI 4). The writing of this scientific paper is based on the author's experience during the Field Experience Practice ( PPL) at SMAN 1 Kupang in 2019. The method used in writing this paper is descriptive-quantitative method. The results of the study of this paper are: The acquisition of student learning outcomes in learning that applies a scientific approach to the colloid system material for class X1 MIPA 1 SMAN 3 Kupang is 82.93 and is declared complete because the acquisition of student learning outcomes is greater than the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). determined at SMAN 3 Kupang, namely 75. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of a scientific approach to colloidal system material can improve student learning outcomes.
