Abstract
The title of the thesis profile of student learning independence and its implications for the Tutoring Program (quantitative descriptive study of students of class VIIIA SMPK Mater Boni Consili Ohe Maumere for the 2021/2022 school year). The problem in this study is 1) how is the learning independence profile of students of class VIIIA SMPK Mater Boni Consili Ohe Maumere for the 2021/2022 school year? and 2) what are the implications of the student learning independence profile for the class VIIIA tutoring program of SMPK Mater Boni Consili Ohe Maumere 2021/2022?. The purpose of this study is to find out 1) the learning independence profile of class VIIIA students of Mater Boni Consili Ohe Maumere junior high school year 2021/2022, and 2) the implications of the student learning independence profile for the class VIIIA tutoring program of Mater Boni Consili Ohe Maumere Junior High School 2021/2022. This research method is quantitative descriptive with data collection tools in the form of student learning independence questionnaires. The data analysis analysis technique used is central tendency analysis. The calculation results are known x ̅ = 122.3, SB = 11.54, and GBx ̅ = 2.30. The result of the calculation is compared to the normal distribution table of z price at a significance level of 5%. From the results of the consultation it is known that the value (μ = mu) is between x ̅ - (1.96 x GBX ̅) - x ̅ + (1.96 x GBx ̅). From the above calculations obtained μ at least = 117.8 rounded to 118 and the maximum μ = 126.8 rounded up to 127, then the average trend of learning independence of students of class VIIIA SMPK Mater Boni Consili Ohe Maumere school year 2021/2022 is (118 +127)/2 = 245/2 = 122.5 rounded to 123. Thus, the average learning independence score of students of class VIIIA SMPK Mater Boni Consili Ohe Maumere for the 2021/2022 school year is 123 which is between the range of 100-129 and belongs to the high category. Based on the results of this study, the researcher gave advice to 1) The principal as the person in charge of educational activities at SMPK Mater Boni Consili Ohe Maumere, is expected to support all planned guidance activities in the school, so that the implementation of tutoring programs can be carried out properly to increase the independence of students' learning. 2) Guidance and Counseling Teachers are expected to increase cooperation with class guardians and subject teachers, so as to help learners to maintain and increase the independence of learners' learning. 3) Learners are expected to follow and be actively involved in the implementation of tutoring programs, so as to increase the flexibility of learning.
