Abstract

Ciken Rental Kupang is a car rental service provider located in Kupang City. Ciken Rental Kupang is a car rental service provider engaged in land transportation that provides car rental within and outside the city. The rental process at Ciken Rental Kupang still uses the manual method (by telephone or coming directly to the location) so the admin must provide an explanation of the rental process repeatedly every time consumers ask and face challenges in conducting monthly reporting. Other Constraint Admins must check payment transactions through checking account mutations every time there is a transfer transaction between accounts. A car rental system that is integrated with a payment gateway and all transactions made are stored in the system and can simplify the transaction process at Ciken Rental Kupang. The payment gateway used is Midtrans, the concept used is Model View Controller (MVC) with Codeigniter Framework, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language, My Structured Query Language (MYSQL) as a database server. This system makes it easy for customers to access information and make car rental orders online without coming to the location. This system also helps owners and admins in managing rental data in a computerized manner so that it is more effective and efficient so that the business being run is superior to other car rental businesses.
