Abstract
The problem that often occurs on the highway is a traffic accident. Accidents require serious handling considering the losses incurred are very large, in the form of injuries to victims of death as well as material losses. Traffic accidents can occur due to geometric aspects of the road, aspects of road equipment and aspects of road user behavior. This study is intended to find road weaknesses related to safety on the Jalan Frans Seda section, from the PU Roundabout (STA 0+000) to the Governor's Office Monument (STA 2+800), using a road safety form. Any technical deviations and dangerous road environmental conditions are compared with technical standards or with existing provisions. The deviation is expressed in the probability value of the cause of the accident (P) and the severity impact value (D) of the accident victim. The correlation between these opportunity and impact values results in a risk value (R), which indicates road safety conditions. The highest average risk value on the Frans Seda road section is 97.83 (STA 2+200) which means that this road has a low accident risk and the level of road weakness related to safety is also small. Meanwhile, the lowest risk value is 24.00 (STA 0+400) which means that this condition requires a passive response, which is where monitoring of points that have the potential to cause accidents begins.
