Abstract

Biology is one of the areas of study that became the standard subjects to be studied for students attending secondary high school. In junior high school 1 kupang west teaching and learning biology subject is still hampered and limited by the lack of teachers, textbooks and teaching aids learning lessons so that the learning process becomes less attractive and not a maximum. Hence the need for innovation to create quality learning media with use tecnology that with the construction of a biological application of learning aids. This application can also be used as one of the interesting learning methods. The method used in this research is Research and Development method with stages namely data collection, planning, design validation phase, the initial testing phase, the improvement phase, phase of field testing and refinement of the final product. The test results revealed that the application system running properly. The test results of the respondents use the system as much as student in student gained 9% disagreed, 19% of students are hesitant and as much as 48% of students who agreed and 24 % of students strongly agreed that the application of this study will be useful for student.
