Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes and learning activities of students by applying the Brain Based Learning (BBL) model on business and energy materials. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Manufui. The design of this study used the One Group Pretest-Posttes Design. The sample used in this study was taken by purposive sampling technique with the number of students in class X IPA 1 as many as 30 students. The tools and instruments used in this research are teaching materials, lesson plans, student worksheets, test questions in the form of multiple choice questions, and student activity observation sheets. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis and normalized gain test (N-Gain). The results of this study indicate that the Brain Based Learning (BBL) learning model can improve learning outcomes and students' learning activities on business and energy materials.
