Abstract
The title of this thesis is about the Profile of Student Career Planning and Its Implications for The Career Guidance Program (Quantitative Descriptive Study of Class VIIIB Students of Nian State Junior High School, TTU Regency, 2021/2022 Academic Year). The formulation of the problem in this study is 1) What is the career planning profile of class VIIIB students at Nian State Junior High School, TTU Regency for the 2021/2022 Academic Year? 2).What are the implications of the career planning profile of class VIIIB students on the career guidance program? The purpose of this study was to find out 1) the career planning profile of class VIIIB students of SMP Negeri Nian, TTU Regency, for the academic year 2021/2022. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The data collection tool is a career planning questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is central trend analysis. The results of the analysis of research data show that the average career planning profile of Nian Junior High School students, TTU Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year is 89,95 in the high category. Based on the results of the research data analysis, the researcher can conclude that the career planning profile of the eighth grade students of Nian State Junior High School, TTU Regency, for the 2021/2022 academic year is relatively high, meaning that the VIIIB grade of TTU of Nian State Junior High School, Nian Regency, has been able to plan a career well. Based on the conclusions above, the researchers propose suggestions to 1) Principals are expected to increase cooperation with BK teachers, facilitate and support all career guidance programs in schools so that they are carried out properly in order to maintain good student career planning 2) BK teachers are expected to design, develop and implement career guidance service program on an ongoing basis to maintain good student career planning and help students with problems in planning their careers 3) Subject teachers who actively provide information to BK teachers in schools about students who are less able to develop their talents and interests so that they can be assisted in guidance services career 4) Students are expected to be actively involved in career guidance service activities to improve their career planning.
