Abstract

Thesis title: application of role playing techniques through group guidance to increase individual social interaction. The problems studied in this thesis are (1) why role playing techniques can contribute to increasing individual social interaction, (2) how is the process of implementing role playing techniques through group guidance to increase individual social interaction and (3) whether role playing techniques through group guidance are effective increase individual social interaction. The purpose of writing a thesis is (1) to determine the reasons for using role playing techniques in increasing individual social interaction, (2) to know the process of implementing role playing techniques through group guidance to increase individual social interaction (3) to determine the effectiveness of role playing techniques through group guidance to improve individual social interactions. The writing of this thesis uses the method of literature study, namely examining books and managing articles of previous research related to the topic being studied. The object of study in this thesis is the technique of role playing and social interaction. The data source used is secondary data sources and the type of data used is qualitative data. The results of the study in this thesis indicate that role playing techniques need to be given to individuals who have low social interaction because role playing techniques aim to develop the ability to interact, make individuals active in speaking and confident and expressing completely without fear of being wrong. The process of implementing role playing techniques through group guidance in increasing individual social interaction is carried out through four stages, namely the formation stage, the intermediate stage, the activity stage carried out by the role playing technique through seven stages, namely warm-up (heating), scane setting (scene setting), selecting roles (choosing roles), enactment (acting), sharing and feedback (feedback), reenancement (repetition), follow-up (follow-up), and the closing stage. The results of the study and analysis in this thesis prove that role playing techniques are effective for increasing individual social interaction, this is supported by articles of previous research which prove that after implementing role playing techniques, individual social interaction has increased.
