Abstract
The title of this thesis is a profile of study time management of class XI Social 1 students at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year and the implications for the tutoring program. The formulation of the problem in this research is 1) What is the study time management profile of students in class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year. 2) What are the implications of the study time management profile of students in class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year for the tutoring program. The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) Study time management profile for class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year. 2) The implications of the study time management profile of students in class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year, for the tutoring program. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is central trend analysis. The sample of this research was 30 students in class XI Social 1 at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the academic year 2022/2023. The results of the research data analysis show that the average score of study time management is 138, this score is in the range of 110-139, belonging to the sufficient category. This can be interpreted that students in class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year lack the ability to manage time in learning by paying attention to having a study schedule, managing time in studying both at home and at school, avoiding delays in doing assignments , carry out activities according to priority, have assertive behavior, and be able to control time. According to the results of the study, the researcher provides suggestions to: 1) The principal, as the person in charge of educational activities at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang, is expected to be able to support all guidance activities planned at school. 2) Students are expected to be able to take part in the tutoring program held at school so that they can manage study time effectively. 3). Guidance and Counseling Teachers are expected to further enhance good cooperation with homeroom teachers and subject teachers so that they can obtain information about students who have not been able to manage study time properly to be followed up in the tutoring program.
