Abstract

Thesis title: Profile of achievement motivation of Class XII Social 2 SMA Negeri 1 Atambua Belu regency academic year 2022/2023 and the implications for the tutoring program. The problems in this research are: 1) What is the profile of the achievement motivation of class XII Social 2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Atambua, Belu Regency, academic year 2022/2023? 2) What are the implications of the achievement motivation profile of Class XII Social 2 SMA Negeri 1 Atambua Belu Regency, academic year 2022/2023 for the tutoring program?Research objectives: 1) The achievement motivation profile of class XII Social 2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Atambua Belu Regency, academic year 2022/2023 2) Implications of the achievement motivation profile of class XII Social 2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Atambua Belu Regency, academic year 2022/2023, for tutoring programs. This research method is descriptive quantitative with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The population and sample of this study were 30 students in class XII Social 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Atambua for the 2022/2023 academic year. The data analysis technique used is central trend analysis. The results of the analysis of research data show that the average score of achievement motivation is 155.05 in the range of scores 140-181, belonging to the high category. This can be interpreted that students of class XII Social 2 SMA Negeri 1 Atambua in the 2022/2023 school year have the responsibility to complete assignments, enjoy criticism and suggestions as encouragement to work better in the future, be able to consider the risks they will face before starting a project. work, creative, and innovative in completing each task. Based on the results of this study, researchers provide advice to: 1) Principal of school; as the person in charge of the activities of SMA Negeri 1 Atambua is expected to be able to support all guidance and counseling activities planned at the school, so that the implementation of the tutoring program can be carried out properly. 2) Counseling guidance teachers; It is hoped that this will increase good cooperation with homeroom teachers and subject teachers in order to obtain information about students who lack achievement motivation to be followed up in the tutoring program. 3) Students; expected to be actively involved in participating in the tutoring program planned at school so that they can maintain achievement motivation.
