Abstract

The title of this thesis is Profile of Assertive Behavior of Class XI Social 5 Students at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the Academic Year 2022/2023 and the Implications for the Personal Guidance Program. The problems in this research are 1) What is the Assertive Behavior Profile of Class XI Social 5 Students at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang in the Academic Year 2022/2023? 2) What are the implications of the assertive behavior profile of students in class XI social 5 at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Knowing the implications of the assertive behavior profile of class XI Social 5 Students of SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, for the personal guidance program The research method is descriptive quantitative with data collection tools in the form of assertive behavior questionnaires. The population and sample of this study were 30 students in class XI Social 5 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the 2022/2023 academic year. The data analysis technique used was central tendency analysis. The results of the research data analysis show that the average assertive behavior is 170.20 in the score range 150-194, belonging to the high category. It can be interpreted that students in class XI Social 5 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang 2022 2023 academic year have the ability to behave assertively. This can be seen through the attitude of students, namely prioritizing equality in human relations, acting according to their own interests, being able to defend themselves, expressing feelings honestly and comfortably, defending personal rights and respecting the rights of others. Based on the results of this study, the researcher provides suggestions to:1) The Principal As the person in charge of the school to continue to coordinate counselors or BK teachers in carrying out Personal guidance properly, in order to help students overcome participant problems students namely assertive behavior 2) Counseling Guidance Teachers It is hoped that it can be a reference material for Guidance and Counseling teachers in compiling and implementing guidance programs that are in accordance with the needs of students to help students overcome assertive behavior problems 3) For Students Can be used as reference material for students so that they can take advantage of the personal guidance program that exists in schools so that they can solve problems related to assertive behavior.
