Abstract

This research was conducted by Romualdus Wilhelmus Mega Sangu (31119060), a Development Economics Study Program student. The first supervisor is Br. Salomon Leki, SE, M.Ec.Dev and the second supervisor is Adrianus Ketmoen, SE., MM. This research entitled "Analysis of Haircut Business Income on Thamrin Street, Oepoi, Kupang City." This research aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of funds, price, and the number of customers on the income of hair-cutting businesses on Thamrin Street. This research used quantitative data, which is data obtained in numerical forms. The sampling technique is done by saturated sampling, which means that the entire population is used as a sample, and a questionnaire is used as the research instrument. The data source in this study is primary data obtained directly by the researcher through the information provided in the research questionnaire to obtain more accurate and valid information to support the results of this study. This study has 30 samples processed in the EViews application using: (1) multiple linear regression analysis techniques; (2) classical assumption tests, which consist of normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test; and (3) hypothesis tests which consist of t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study found that fund does not have a partial effect on the income of hair-cutting businesses on Thamrin Street, Oepoi, Kupang City, with a significance value > 0.05 (0.3035 > 0.05); price has a partial effect on the income of hair cutting businesses on Thamrin Street, Oepoi, Kupang City, with a significance value < 0.05 (0.0487 < 0.05); the number of customers has a partial effect on the income of hair cutting businesses on Thamrin Street, Oepoi, Kupang City, with a significance value < 0.05 (0.0003 < 0.05); and fund, price, and the number of customers have a simultaneous effect on the income of hair cutting businesses on Thamrin Street, Oepoi, Kupang City, with a significance value < 0.05 (0.0000 < 0.05).
