Abstract

The purpose of this research is: (1) to determine the teacher's ability to manage learning by implementing a scientific approach to chemical equilibrium material for class XI Science at St. Catholic High School. Markus Pateng, (2) find out the learning outcomes of class XI IPA students at St. Catholic High School. Markus Pateng on chemical equilibrium material in learning that implements a scientific approach, (3) knowing the increase in learning outcomes in aspects of students' knowledge in learning by implementing a scientific approach in chemical equilibrium material for class XI IPA St. Catholic High School. Markus Pateng. Data collection techniques used are through observation and tests. Based on data analysis from the results of this research, it was found tha:t (1) the teacher's ability to manage learning by implementing a scientific approach in chemical equilibrium material for class XI Science at St. Catholic High School. Markus Pateng is categorized as good with an average score of 3.79 with a reliability of 95%. (2) the learning outcomes of students after implementing the scientific approach to chemical equilibrium material are declared complete because the average score obtained is ≥ the KKM score, which is The average score obtained was 85 and the KKM was 75. (3) The learning outcomes of students in the knowledge aspect of learning by implementing a scientific approach were stated to have increased as seen from the average N-gain of 0.68 with moderate improvement criteria.
