Abstract

The thesis examines "Employee Work Discipline in the SKTM Making Process at the Bakiruk Village Office, Central Malaka District, Malacca Regency." The aim of this research is to determine work discipline in the process of making a certificate of disability (SKTM) at the Bakiruk Village Office, Central Malaka District, Malacca Regency. This research adopts discipline theory according to Hasibuan (2014) where there are eight indicators that are the focus of this research, namely goals and abilities, leadership example, remuneration (salary), justice, inherent supervision, legal sanctions, firmness, and human relations. Qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, the types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques by reducing or summarizing the data obtained, then presenting data that is related to the title. The research results show that employee work discipline in the process of making SKTM at the Bakiruk Village Office has gone well, such as 1). Goals and capabilities, the work assigned to employees must be in accordance with the employee's abilities so that the employee works according to his abilities so that discipline can be created from the employee because of the employee's ability to serve the community. 2). The leader's example is that the work assigned to employees must be in accordance with the employee's abilities so that the employee works according to his abilities so that discipline can be created from the employee because of the employee's ability to serve the community. 3). Remuneration (salary), remuneration for services provided in accordance with the Regent's regulatory standards. 4). Justice, that the justice that occurs at the Bakiruk Village office is good, namely that it does not discriminate between leaders and employees. 5). Inherent Supervision, that supervision of the performance of village officials is carried out by the Village Consultative Body (BPD). 6). Legal Sanctions, legal sanctions given by the leadership at the Bakiruk Village Office in the form of a direct warning and delivered in polite language. 7). Assertiveness, that the leader's firmness is very good at always paying attention to the work of employees. 8). Human Relations, that humanitarian relations between the leadership and staff at the Bakiruk Village Office are very good. With this, discipline has occurred because there is smooth communication, thus creating good family relationships. So it can be concluded that based on the results of field findings, researchers assess that employee work discipline in serving the community is good. This can be seen in carrying out their duties, employees are responsible for serving the community.
