Abstract
Title of thesis: Effectiveness of Bibliotherapy Technique Implementation Through Group Counseling to Improve the Ability to Manage Angry Emotions of Class XI A Students of Raimanuk State Senior High School in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The problem in this study is whether the application of bibliotherapy techniques through group counseling is effective in improving the ability to manage angry emotions of class XI A students of Raimanuk State Senior High School in the 2024/2025 academic year? The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of bibliotherapy techniques through group counseling to improve the ability to manage angry emotions of class XI A students of Raimanuk State Senior High School in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive with a pre-experimental research type (one group pretest-posttest design). The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire on students' anger management abilities as a data collection instrument and intervention guidelines as a treatment instrument. The data analysis technique used the t-test formula. The results of the analysis show that the t_count value is 10.482 while the t_table value at a significance level of 5% is 2.015, thus the t_count value> t_table value. This shows that the bibliotherapy technique through group counseling is effective in improving the ability to manage angry emotions of class XI A students of Raimanuk State High School in the 2024/2025 academic year. Based on the results of this study, the researcher provides suggestions to: 1) The principal is expected to coordinate, support and facilitate the BK program so that BK teachers can carry out group counseling activities with bibliotherapy techniques to improve students' ability to manage angry emotions. 2) Guidance and Counseling teachers are expected to continuously provide group counseling by applying bibliotherapy techniques to improve students' ability to manage angry emotions. 3) Students are expected to be actively involved in participating in group counseling with bibliotherapy techniques, to improve their ability to manage angry emotions better.
