Abstract

Woven fabric is one of the leading products of the Gerodhere Village community. However, its marketing still faces several challenges, such as limited market reach and lack of promotion, which results in restricted access to wider markets and a decline in artisans’ income. To address this issue, this study aims to design and develop a web-based marketing information system to expand market reach and improve sales efficiency. The system was built using the Waterfall methodology, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, utilizing PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. After the system was successfully developed, testing was carried out to ensure its functionality and usability. The results of the black box testing showed that all functions ran according to requirements, both for the admin and customer sides. Meanwhile, the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 30 respondents produced an average score of 4.24 (Good), indicating that the system is easy to use and feasible for implementation. Overall, this system not only expands market access and increases sales but also contributes to local economic empowerment and strengthens cultural identity through the digitalization of woven products.
