Abstract

The object of study in this study is about token economy techniques in group guidance and student creativity. The data source used by the writer is secondary data. The type of data used is qualitative data. The results of the study show that the token economy technique is one of the techniques that can be used in increasing student creativity, because this technique is given to help modify behavior and strengthen the desired behavior of students in a better direction. The process of applying token economy techniques through group guidance to increase student creativity is carried out in four stages, namely the formation stage, the intermediate stage, the activity stage, and the termination stage. In this stage of group guidance activities, the token economy technique is applied which consists of four stages, namely identifying changed behaviors, creating and explaining rules, choosing what to use as tokens, and setting prices. The results of the study prove that the application of token economy techniques through group guidance is effective for increasing student creativity. This is supported by articles of previous research results which have proven that after being treated using token economy techniques, there is an increase in student creativity. Based on the results of the study, the authors provide suggestions to: 1) for BK teachers, to deepen their knowledge and improve skills in applying token techniques economy for increasing student creativity, 2) for the author, through this research, it is expected for the author to better understand and be skilled in implementing token economy techniques through group guidance to increase student creativity.
