Abstract
This study aims to describe the communication skills of junior high school students based on visual, auditorial, and kinesthetic learning styles on social arithmetic materials. This research is a qualitative research description. The selection of research subjects was done by giving a learning style test. The selected subjects were three people categorized into categories of students with visual learning styles, categories of students with auditorial learning styles and categories of students with kinesthetic learning styles. Instrument of research in the form of question test as much as 2 problem and guidance of interview. Result of research show that student with visual learning style able to express mathematical idea orally and written, able to interpret and evaluate math ideas both orally and written and able to present settlement mathematics. students with auditorial learning styles are able to express mathematical ideas orally and in writing, able to interpret and evaluate mathematical ideas both orally and in writing and capable of presenting mathematical solutions. students with kinesthetic learning styles are able to express mathematical ideas orally and in writing, able to interpret and evaluate mathematical ideas both orally and in writing and capable of presenting mathematical solutions.
