Abstract

Direct Instruction is one of learning apporoaching used to prop participant studying proccess regarding to declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge the most structure with every consideration that chastened with learning pattent that gets phase, step by step. The main problem in this research is how to result of application of Direct Instruction in teaching main stirred subject material Straight in students grade X A SMA Kristen 1 Kupang peculiar semester school year 2013//2014? Elaborate of about problem in this research is: 1) How the teacher ability lear in bring off learning activity by applying Direct Instruction? 2) How is learning achievement indicator by applying Direct Instruction? 3) How result participant studying be taught in learning by applying Direct Instruction? 4) How respond students to learning activity by applying Direct Instruction? To the effect in this research is describe to usufruct Direct Instruction implement stirred subject material Straight in students grade X A SMA Kristen 1 Kupang peculiar semester school year 2013/2014. Intent elaborate observational it is: 1) Describe teacher ability in bring of learning activity by applying Direct Instruction. 2) Describe learning achievement indicator by applying Direct Instruction. 3) Describe usufructs to students participants in learning by applying Direct Instruction. 4) Describe stundens response are taught to learning activity by applying Direct Instruction. The kind of this research is descriptive and the subjects are teacher (researcher) and student grade X A school year 2013/2014 which is amounted to 20 students. The instrument using in this research are observation sheet of learning process by applying Direct Instruction, the result of test (product and affective) and studens answer sheet. Data collecting tech that is utilized is observation, essay and questionnaire. The technique in analyzing data is by using descriptive and quantitative including mean calculation, percentage and proportion. Based on the result of descriptive analyzing and working trough in general it can be said that the application of Direct Instruction stirred subject material straight classes students X A SMA Kristen 1 Kupang peculiar semester school year 2013/2014 is optimal. Resulting elaborate observational it is: 1) ability learn in bring of learning by applying Direct Instruction is good. 2) Learning achievement indicator by applying Direct Instruction is complete. 3) Result students in learning by applying Direct Instruction is complete. 4) Students response are taugth to learning activity by applying Direct Instruction are pretty good.
