Abstract

The aims of this research to determine whether there is any influence of this Treffinger learning model in order to improve the creative thinking skills of 7 th Grade students of Adhyaksa 2 Kupang. The sample in this study were students of class VII A. The data used in the study were data on the pretest and posttest values of the experimental class with the Treffinger learning model. The data obtained will be analyzed using the version 22.0 SPSS program. Before testing the hypothesis, they take the requirements test, which are the normality test and homogeneity test for pretest and posttest data. From the results of the experimental class normality test analysis for pretest data obtained the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-Tailed) = 0.200> 0.05 and Dcount = 0.163. This shows that, the value of Asymp.Sig. (2-Tailed) = 0.200> 0.05 and Dcount = 0.163≤Dtabel = 0.318 thus, it can be concluded, Ho which means the data is normally distributed. While the posttest data obtained asymp. Sig value. (2-Tailed) = 0.090 and Dcount = 0.194. (2-Tailed) = 0.090> 0.05 and Dcount = 0.98 2,119 =, according to the t requirements and approval of acceptance and rejection of Ho in CHAPTER 3 with a significance level of 5%, Ho is rejected or Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the trrifinger learning model of the students' mathematics learning achievements. The results of this study prove that treffinger learning model focuses on the creative thinking skills of junior high school students. Therefore, the authors recommends the teachers to use the Treffinger learning model in classroom according to material that will be discussed by the teacher.
