Abstract

The purpose of ths study is to find out the profile of students perception of grade VII students of junior high school. The type of this study was descriptive qualitative. Subjects in this study were two student in grade VII of one junior high school in Kupang City. Data collection was carried out by done by giving the task of solving problems, interviews, and analysing data using data redution, classification stage, and concluding conculasion. The result showed that the research shows that the JW and VO in absorbing the problem were able to determine what information was found in the problem and were able to determine what was known and asked from the problem both verbally and writing . on the aspect of understanding how to solve soap , can make and link the illustrations in the from of the of knowledge possesed to solve the problem in its own way. In the assessment aspect can carry out a plan of settlement can describe and explain again the stages in the solution have been made both in writing. In the aspect of rechecking, can be sure and explain that the solution is used correctly and has answered the question. Based on the description, the two subjects JW and VO were able to meet the there indicators of students perceptions profile of the set material in grade VII junior high school students in TPM I and TPM II.
