Abstract

The formulation of the research problem is as follows: (1) What is the description of Grabbike drivers in Kupang City? (2) How big is the comparison of service income before and during Covid-19, in Kupang City compared to the 2019 and 2022 UMP in Kupang City?. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the description of Grabbike drivers in Kupang City, (2) To analyze the Comparison of Grabbike Service Revenues before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic, with the 2019 and 2022 UMP in Kupang City. The research location for Grabbike drivers is in Kupang City. In this research, the writer uses: Qualitative descriptive method, namely by conducting: Interview results, Observations, and Documentation. The data source in this study is primary data and secondary data, in this case data obtained directly from Grabbike driver respondents through a questionnaire with the income sources of all respondents regarding service income before and during Covid-19 in Kupang City. The sample used in this study were 30 Grabbike drivers in Kupang City as samples found at the base or on the road. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study show that there is a difference between the income of Grabbike drivers before and during the Covid-19 pandemic compared to the 2019 UMP in Kupang City, which is normal or high. Meanwhile, service income during the Covid-19 pandemic compared to the 2022 UMP in Kupang City is decreasing. However, with the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in Kupang City, it had a negative impact on the income earned by Grabbike drivers per day. As a result, the daily income of Grabbike drivers decreased drastically from the previous normal income.
