Abstract

Learning carried out during the pandemic period is considered less effective because it is done online where the teacher only provides material in the form of files to students so that the learning outcomes are less effective than before the pandemic period, therefore one alternative for the learning process during this pandemic is to utilizing video as a learning medium (using instructional video media). The response of students to the learning process or the media used by the teacher is one of the factors that influence learning outcomes, so in this study there are several main problems studied, namely: (1) How is the validity of the learning videos on hydrocarbons? (2)How do students respond to learning videos on hydrocarbons? (3) How are the learning outcomes of students who use learning videos on hydrocarbon material? (4) How is the relationship between student responses regarding learning video media to student learning outcomes after using learning videos on hydrocarbon material? (5) How is the effect of student responses on learning video media on student learning outcomes after using learning videos on hydrocarbon material?. The main objectives of this research are (1) to know the validity of the video media for learning hydrocarbon materials. (2)Knowing the response of students about learning videos on hydrocarbon material. (3) Knowing the learning outcomes of students who use hydrocarbon learning videos. (4)Knowing the relationship of student responses about learning video media to student learning outcomes after using learning videos on hydrocarbon material. (5)Knowing the effect of student responses on learning video media on student learning outcomes after using learning videos on hydrocarbon material. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that (1) the validation of the learning video media is declared valid with a validity value of 96.5. (2) The responses of students in class XI IPA SMAN 1 Satarmese for the 2021/2022 academic year are included in the good category with an average percentage of 80.43%. (3) The learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA SMAN Satarmese for the 2021/2022 academic year are declared complete with an average score of 81.23. (4) There is a significant relationship between responses about instructional video media and learning outcomes of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Satarmese students for the 2021/2022 academic year with a correlation coefficient of 0.55 (5) There is a significant effect between responses about instructional video media with the learning outcomes of class XI science students at SMAN 1 Satarmese for the 2021/2022 academic year with a simple regression equation of Y = 62.13860178 + 0.3034266x.
