Abstract

Thesis title: profile of Student Delinquency and Its Implications for the Social Guidance Program for class XII IPS 1 students of SMA Negeri 4 Kupang in the 2022/2023 academic year. The problems this in this studi are: 1) What is the delinquency profile 0f class XII IPS 1 students of SMA Negeri 4 Kupang in the academic year 2022/2023? The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the delinquency profile of students in class XII IPS SMA Negeri 4 Kupang in the academic year 2022/2023, 2) the implications for social guidance programs for students in class XII IPS SMA Negeri 4 Kupang in the academic year 2022/2023. The method in this study used a quantitative descriptive method with data collection tools in the form of a students delinquency questionnaire. The population and sample of this study were students of class IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang in the academic year 2022/2023 with a sample of 32 students. The data analysis technique used is central trend analysis. The variabel in the study a single variabel, namely student delinquency. The results of data analysis show that student delinquency and its implications for the sosial guidance program in class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang for the academic year 2022/2023 with an average score of 81,46 in the score range of 48-83, are in the very low category. The result of the analysis of each aspect show that the delinquency aspect of the physical victim with a score of 22,06 in the opposing score, 21-29 is in the low category, the material victim’s delinquency aspect with a score of 22,57 in the range of scores 21-29 is in the low category, the social delinquency aspect with a score of 20,39 in the range of scores, 12-20, is in the very low category. The delinquency aspect of thw status with a score of 19-51 in the range of scores, 12-20 is in the very low category. Based on the results obtained in this study, the researcher gave several advice to: a) the principal is expected to maintain and improve coperation with all parties in the school, especially the counseling guidance teacher to implement the social guidance program design in maintaining good student behavior.b) counseling guidance teacher are expected to improve good cooperation with homeroom teachers and subject teachers in order to obtain information about students who do delinquency to be followed up in social guidance programs. c) student are expected to be actively involved in social guidance program activities carried out in schools, to avoid delinquency.
