Abstract

This research was conducted in Kupang City with the problem raised was "How is the effectiveness of employee work in managing land certificate archive data at the Kupang City Land Office? “. The goal to be achieved is to analyze the effectiveness of the work of employees in managing land certificate archival data at the Kupang City Land Office. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method while the data collection techniques used in this study are interviews and field observations. From the results of field research, it shows that the effectiveness of employee work in managing archival data is not optimal because of several obstacles at the Kupang City Land Office, namely limited archive storage space and a lack of archiving officers. the paperwork that was there. In the process of storing data using the Alaskah application which is prone to errors, especially if the internet connection is bad which results in a slow process of managing archive data. So that most officers use Microsoft Excel more often because it's easier to get disturbed by internet connection problems. Based on the results of the research and data analysis and conclusions, it is suggested that there is a need to increase Service Operational Standards, especially the timeliness of archival data management in order to increase the frequency of community satisfaction with office services and to add IT experts to repair applications if suddenly an error or damage to the uploaded data occurs. in app. Then the addition of archive officers to meet the specifications of archive work at the Kupang City Land Office. This is necessary so that the quality of employee work can be accounted for and Expansion of archive storage space and Improvement of manual archive data security.
