Abstract
The objectives to be achieved in this research are 1) To determine the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying the discovery learning approach to the reaction rate material for class XI Science at SMAN 3 Macang Pacar, 2) To determine students' critical thinking abilities in learning that applies the discovery learning approach to the reaction rate material for class XI Science at SMAN 3 Macang Pacar, , 3) To determine the increase in students' critical thinking abilities in learning that applies the discovery learning approach to the reaction rate material for class XI Science at SMAN 3 Macang Pacar, 4) To determine the completeness of students' learning outcomes in learning that applies the discovery learning approach to the reaction rate material for class XI Science at SMAN 3 Macang Pacar, 5) To determine the increase in learning outcomes in aspects of students' knowledge in learning that applies the discovery learning approach to the reaction rate material for class XI Science at SMAN 3 Macang Pacar. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this research was 18 students of class XI Science at SMAN 3 Macang Pacar. Based on data analysis from the research results, it can be concluded as follows: 1) The teacher's ability to manage learning by applying the discovery learning approach is categorized as good with an average score of 3.74 and a reliability of 95%. 2) Students' critical thinking abilities in learning that applies the discovery learning approach to reaction rate material are classified in the very good category with the average score obtained being 84. 3) Increased students' critical thinking abilities in learning that applies the discovery learning approach to the material The reaction rate is classified as high with an average N-Gain score of 0,70. 4) Completeness of student learning outcomes in learning that applies the discovery learning approach to reaction rate material is declared complete with an average score obtained of 88. 5) Improvement in learning outcomes for skills aspects in learning that applies the discovery learning approach to reaction rate material is classified as medium criteria with an average N-Gain score obtained of 0.64.
