Abstract

Sikka Regency faces significant challenges in preserving cultural heritage due to limited educational facilities and supporting infrastructure. The Blikon Blewut Museum, the only historical museum in the area, is located in a remote and inaccessible location, thus hampering the participation of school and university students. The lack of attention to education and cultural preservation has the potential to result in the loss of important cultural values and community identity. To address this issue, it is proposed to build a cultural museum located in the city center, with adequate and standard facilities. The museum is designed with contemporary architecture that reflects the cultural character of Sikka Regency, aiming to improve accessibility, convey clear cultural messages, and preserve traditions. By integrating modern architectural principles and local cultural elements, it is hoped that the design of this museum can be an effective means of preserving and displaying cultural heritage while reaching various levels of society.
