Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of work motivation among village officials in supporting government programs in Lewolaga Village, Titehena Subdistrict, East Flores Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on internal and eksternal factors influencing work motivation, such as interest, life values, responsibility, salary, work environment, coworker relations, and leadership style. The results show that the work motivation of village officials in Lewolaga remains low, affecting their performance, discipline, and participation in implementing village government programs. Some inhibiting factors include excessive workload, interpersonal conflicts, lack of welfare, and limited support from leadership. Therefore, increasing work motivation through improved leadership, better welfare, and a conducive work environment is essential for the success of government programs at the village level.
