Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning obstacles that are often done by students in solving geometry problems that are focused on the concept of a circle, and how to overcome the learning obstacles of students in geometry learning. This research is a qualitative research with the type of case study research. The subjects in this study were 3 students who had 1 high ability, 1 medium ability and 1 low ability. Data collection techniques used in this test are test results,interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the learning obstacles carried out by students almost meet all the indicators of student learning barriers. This is because the research subjects lack focus, work in a hurry, forget formulas when solving math problems on geometry problems.
