Abstract
This research was written by Fransiskus Xaverius Fallo (31118101). The Development Economics Study Program is under the guidance of Supervisor I Mrs. Emiliana Martuti Lawalu, SE, ME and Supervisor II Mr. Adrianus Ketmoen, SE, MM with the research title "Analysis of Consumption Patterns of Development Economics Students FEB Unwira and its Relevance to E-commerce". The purpose of this study was to determine the simultaneous and partial effect of income, price level and environment on student consumption patterns statistically and to determine the relationship between student consumption patterns and e-commerce descriptively. This study uses quantitative data. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data using a questionnaire technique (question list). The population in this study were all active students of the Development Economics Study Program as many as 271 people. The sample in this study used the Slovin formula with a sample of 74 people. Then the data is obtained by using the Eviews program to find multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing and determination test (R2). Simultaneously it was obtained that the significance value < 0.05 (0.002162 < 0.05) and the calculated F value > F table (5.382076 > 2.74). Therefore, the independent variables (income (X1), price level (X2) and environment (X3)) have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable (Student Consumption Pattern (Y)). The value of determination is 0.152604 or 15%. Partially, the income variable (X1) and the price level (X2) have a positive and significant effect on the Student Consumption Pattern (Y) because the t count > t table and the significance value < 0.05 while the environmental variable (X3) has no positive and insignificant effect. on Student Consumption Patterns (Y) because the value of t count < t table and significance value > 0.05. There is a close relationship between the consumption patterns of economic development students at FEB Unwira and e-commerce with a percentage rate of 72%. With a small percentage in terms of the independent variable explaining the dependent variable, the authors' suggestions for further research are expected to look for other factors or variables that can explain consumption patterns with a large percentage. Keywords: Income, price level, environment, consumption patterns and e-commerce.
