Abstract

Thesis title: Profile of students self-confidence and their training in personal guidance programs (Quantitative Descriptive Study of Class XI Social 1 Students of SMA Negeri 2 Tasifeto Barat Academic Year 2021/2022). The problems in this study are: 1. What is the self-confidence profile of students in class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 2 Tasifeto Barat for the academic year 2021/2022? 2. What is the self-confidence profile of students in class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 2 Tasifeto Barat for the academic year 2021/2022 for the personal tutoring program? This research was conducted with the aim of knowing: 1. The self-confidence profile of students in class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 2 Tasifeto Barat for the academic year 2021/2022. The implications of the self-confidence profile of class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 2 Tasifeto Barat students for the 2021/2022 academic year for personal guidance programs. The types of this research are: quantitative descriptive. The data collection tool uses a self-confidence questionnaire. The data analysis technique used central trend analysis obtained that students self-confidence scores 0f 214, were in the range of scores of 204-251. Based on the predeteremined criteria, the self confidence of students in class XI Social 1 SMA Negeri 2 Tasifeto Barat fot the academic year 2021/2022 is included in the high category. Strating from the results of the research, then provide suggestions 1.The principal as the person in charge of educational activites at SMA Negeri 2 Tasifeto Barat is expected to be able to support the activites planned at the school, so that the implementation of the guidane program can be implemented and can help students to maintain self-confidence. 2. Guidance and counseling teachers are expected to develop and implement personal guidance services that can beapplied in schools so as to prevent personal problems especially issues related to self-confidence.
