Abstract

The direct learning model is one of the teaching approaches specially designed to support the learning process of learners related to declarative knowledge and well-structured procedural knowledge that can be taught by gradual activity pattern, step by step.Thus this learning model can be used for Train and develop various skills and skills of science and improve the achievement of learning outcomes. The background in this study is the subject matter of Newton's law and its application very closely related to the real problems in everyday life. The general problem in this research is how the results of the application of direct learning model of Newton's main subject matter and its application to the students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017? Specifically the problems in this research are: 1) How is the ability of teachers in managing Newton's legal material learning and its application by applying direct learning model to the students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang 2016/2017 academic year? 2) How is the completeness of learning achievement indicator of the subject matter of Nwton Law and its implementation by applying direct learning model to the students of X class MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang 2016/2017 academic year? 3) How is the completeness of the learners' learning material of Newton's legal matter and its application by applying direct learning model to the students of X class MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang 2016/2017 academic year? 4) What is the learner's response to the main subject matter of Newton's Law and its application by applying the language learning model directly to the students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang The academic year 2016/2017? The purpose of this study in general is Describe the results of the application of direct learning model of Newton's main subject matter and its application to the students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017. Specifically, the objectives of this study can be formulated as follows: 1) Describe the ability of educators in managing the implementation of the subject matter of Newton law and its application that apply direct learning model to the students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017. 2) Describe the completeness of the learning achievement indicators of the subject matter of Newton's Law and its application by applying direct learning model to the students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017. 3) Describe the completeness of learning outcomes of learners of Newton's principal legal matter and its application by applying direct learning model to students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang Lesson Year 2016/2017. 4) Describe the response of learners to the learning activities of Newton's main subject matter and its application which apply direct learning model to the students of X class MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang Academic Year 2016/2017. The type of research is descriptive research. Subjects in this study were students of class X MIA 1 semester odd SMA Negeri 6 Kupang which amounted to 31 people and educators (researchers). The research instruments used are: Observation Sheet of teacher ability, Test Results Learning and Questionnaire Response Learners learners. Techniques used to collect data is Observation, Test and Questionnaire technique. Data analysis techniques used calculate the average, proportion and percentage. From the results of descriptive analysis, the results of this study can generally be concluded that the application of Direct Learning Model of Newton's main subject matter and its application to students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang 2016/2017 optimal academic year.
