Abstract

This research was conducted in Tuak Daun Merah sub-district, Kupang City. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of location, price, and number of rooms on the income of boarding entrepreneurs in Tuak Daun Merah sub-district of Kupang City. The population in this study was 70 boarding entrepreneurs in Tuak Daun Merah sub-district. The sample was taken as many as 60 respondents. The sampling technique used is random sampling. Data analysis in this study is quantitative using data analysis techniques, namely multiple linear regression and the data is analyzed using the Eviews 12 program. Based on the results of the t test (partial), the location variable has a significant effect on the income of boarding entrepreneurs in Tuak Daun Merah village with a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05. The price variable has a significant effect on the income of boarding entrepreneurs in Tuak Daun Merah Village with a significance value of 0.0003 < 0.05.The variable number of rooms has a significant effect on the income of boarding entrepreneurs in Tuak Daun Merah Village with a significance value of 0.0000 < 0.05. The results of the F (Simultaneous) test variables location, price, and number of rooms together affect the income of boarding entrepreneurs in Tuak Daun Merah sub-district with a significance value of 0.0001 < 0.05. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) of independent variables, namely location, price, and number of rooms, can explain the dependent variable, namely the income of the cost entrepreneur of 0.590 (59%). While the remaining 69.6% was explained by other factors not studied in this study.
