Abstract
The title of this scientific work is The Effectiveness of Role Playing Techniques Through Group Guidance Services to Reduce Speaking Anxiety. The method used in this paper is a deductive method. The object of study in this scientific paper is the technique of role playing and speaking anxiety. In this scientific paper, the data source used by the author is a secondary data source. The type of data in the writing of this scientific paper is qualitative data. The implementation of role playing techniques packaged in group guidance services can be carried out in several stages, namely the formation stage (beginning), the transition stage, the activity stage, and the termination stage. Role playing techniques through group guidance can be used to reduce speaking anxiety because with role playing individuals are able to practice speaking skills to be more fluent and appear bold in front of others. Role playing techniques through group guidance services are effective for reducing speaking anxiety based on the results of previous research.
